Sublime foundation by Ferran, like a patient worker observing the everyday signs and wonders of Nature. The peasant's poetry could be an alternative title and despite a few interior frustrating paces,Hinds is more than enough. The overall achievement of this movie is to upgrade the classical novel adaptation and provide to Lawrence the best picture about Lady Chatterley.

This is purely entertainment for the horny housewife. Straight out of the novel. The actors do a fine job portraying the complex characters. It seems to me to be all about the subtle feelings and the things not being said. Plenty of awkward but steamy sex to go around. The story is also weak, progresses to slowly (movie is far to long) and simply not interesting enough. No, watch some decent soft-core porn instead of this romance flick.

Wonderfully earthy and naturalistic take on the tale of forbidden love. Marina Hands is breathtaking and the romance that blossoms is believable and touching. It shows a time when sexual discovery was innocent, pure and free from the hard sell media saturation we suffer today.

This was a lovely film.. As I watched it, I was pulled into the daily life of Constance Chatterley, but at the same time I was reminded that this was a novel, as well as a film. Nothing was overly theatrical like in a lot of book adaptations and movies set in different eras. .. but at the same time, everything was excruciatinly beautiful and passionate.

Its a beautiful film. Different. And very romantic. Its in French too but its not in the book as its based on a book. A book that my mum read in secret behind bike sheds in school because its quiet a sexual film. But its still nice. And makes you appreciat the finer things in life. Very well made and is subtitled of course. Worth seeing for all ages 18 and over, but mainly for those who are romantic. Warning its a bit slow at first. But I simply love it!

The best picture I saw at this year's LA Film Festival. Definitely see this in a theater, since I'm guessing most TVs won't do this beautifully shot movie justice.
