MCT:January 18, 2008I found everything from the plot outline to the happy Hollywood ending implausible. Though, it was interesting to see the possibilities if this actually happened. Very thought provoking movie. Bottom line: don't have sex before marriage! It creates so many heartbreaking problems.

This movie was alright. nothing all that great about it. I might have enjoyed it more if Madonna was not in it, beacuse she annoys me to the very core. But I did like Benjamin Bratt and Rupert Everett which are the only things that keep this movie watachable.

I don't know what the hell happened to this movie..I blame Madonna...Everett was charming to the last, and the plot was even funny and could have been delightful to watch, but the material girl's bad acting and horribly done British accent killed this movie...

The story isn't bad but the movie could have had a better end. And Madonna, she's better at singing and dancing than as an actress.

In this case the parents are a homosexual father and a heterosexual mother that got drunk one night and the child was the result. But that doesn't really matter too much. It is still a separation story. Quite a good one too. -

Even though I'm a sucker for this genre in movies, I have to draw the line somewhere. The story could have done better, but Madonna just kills the whole thing, she should stick to what she's a master at, singing

Possibly one of the worst movies ever made. Madonna's acting is slightly decnet (for once) but the plot is dodgy, stupid,a nd boring as hell. While the previews show a slightly dramatic comedy, the movie centers around backstabbing and distrust, and Madonna's range in acting playing a woman who does Yoga, has a child out of wedlock and is firends with rupert Everett- hey - wait a minute

It was HARD for me to believe that the co-parents would have NOTHING in writing or in place to protect this child should the situation present itself. The whole court drama would be beside itself I guess. Anyway I didn't really like it that much.

Will someone PLEASE tell Madonna to stick to the day job?? She's just embarrassing herself...and someone should tell Rupert Everett that having an english accent isn't enough to carry a film outside of the US' female demographic.
