If you have just started dating it put pressure on the dude to say he would also die for his girl, but if you have been together for a while the dude doesn't want to watch his lady snot up and squall for 2 hours. then she turns on him with: "why haven't you ever saved me on a mahogany door in an Arctic sea?" No relationship needs this movie. so much better to watch in the privacy of your own home with all your girlfriends. bring on boxes of kleenex and gallons of ice cream!

This is probably one of the worst movies that I have seen in my life. It feels as if it were written by a fourth-grader and made in the soft-core porn department. How did it win best picture of the year? I credit it as the most overrated film of all time.

MCT:September 5, 2008Cameron has wasted DiCaprio & Winslet's talent. What terrible dialogue! Nucci's Italian accent was horrendous. I think the only character who didn't annoy me--at any point--was Hill's Captain Smith... he was perfect. I overrated it a little bit based on the attention to detail of the boat & the costuming. The depiction of the actual disaster was sooo much better than the crap love story.

Exelente tecnicamente, sonido, musica, vestuario, direccion de arte pero un absurdo guion cursi, la chica fina que deja los lujos y vida de palacio por un costroso harapiento piojoso que en esos barcos no dejaban salir a la cubierta ni ser vistos que la cautiva para siempre y el otro que enloquese por una facil que en menos de tres dias de conocerse se le puso y esa infatuacion aguanta hasta los 100 aņos, si claro.

Saw it. Some scenes with Leo DiCaprio trying to be this worldly vagabond were just ridiculous! Great effects though, best James Cameron movie since "The Abyss".
